You know that feeling when you bite into something and think, wait, candy can taste like this?

That's the Swedish difference.

Sweet Swede brings the decades-old Swedish tradition of lösviktsgodis straight to your retail space, your wedding, or even your backyard.

A Montana Girl, a Swedish Hockey Player, and a Shared Sweet Tooth

Sweet Swede started with a love story. When I moved to Utah to from Montana I didn't expect to meet my forever best friend—a stoic hockey player who'd immigrated from Sweden. He brought me into his whole culture: the language, the traditions, the food, and yes, the candy. Lots and lots of candy.

For years, every trip to Sweden meant one impossible decision: which candies make the cut? Which get left behind? Eventually, it became obvious. The answer wasn't to choose. It was to bring the whole experience home.

The Tradition of Lösviktsgodis

Lösviktsgodis ("Saturday candy") dates back to 1950's Sweden. A tradition born from the idea of "pick-and-mix" loose candy combined with limited availability; creating a healthier and more fun way to satisfy your sweet-tooth.

That's exactly what we bring to every Sweet Swede experience. Dishes of Swedish sweets, a friendly face as your candy guide, and a bag that's entirely healthy-hand-picked by you.
